We had a family dinner for his birthday. I made some cakes, which I totally screwed up but with a little bit of cream and icing and stick in an Australian flag, Bobs your uncle and the kids are happy! Joel chose mexican for dinner which we all really love because it also means easy cooking, easy eating kinda night.
Then it was Joshuas birthday today. He turned 3! Because he never had a party before, we kinda went all out and had a pirate party even with an official pirate, it was so much fun making the boys costumes and his cake. I am so proud of myself for doing such an awesome job, they turned out great!

We had such a good time, straight after his party which went from 11am to 1pm we then had a family dinner for lunch. Steves mum was there and it was her birthday as well. I made these beautiful angel cakes with cream and flake chocolate speckles, oops forgot to take a photo of that. After taking over 200 photos, I was all photo'd out.
